Sakura Body Ritual: Dry Scrub, Warm Oil & Finishing Fragrance

Massage oil used as part of the BORAGE Sakura body ritual

The BORAGE Sakura ritual is a dry scrub and warm oil treatment built around a simple sequence: Sakura Dry Body Scrub → brush removal → warmed Sakura Massage Oil. Cherry Blossom Spa Fragrance can be used as an aromatic finishing element before or after the service.

What products and accessories are used?

  • Sakura Dry Body Scrub
  • Sakura Massage Oil
  • Cherry Blossom Spa Fragrance
  • Two treatment brushes
  • A ceramic pot for warming the dry scrub
  • Red fabric for the opening drape

Step 1: Prepare the ritual

Set up the treatment area before the client begins the service. The dry scrub can be gently warmed in the ceramic pot, and the massage oil should be warmed separately to a comfortable treatment temperature.

Step 2: Apply Sakura Dry Body Scrub

Apply the dry scrub to the treatment area as the exfoliation stage. For a full body service, BORAGE treatment guidance uses approximately 110 g of dry scrub. For hands and feet, approximately 60 g can be used.

Step 3: Remove the dry scrub with brushes

After the exfoliation stage, use the two brushes to remove the remaining dry scrub from the skin. The purpose of this step is to clear away the powder before moving into the massage stage.

Step 4: Massage with warmed Sakura Massage Oil

Apply the warmed Sakura Massage Oil and continue with the massage. In this Sakura ritual, the oil is not rinsed off as part of the treatment sequence.

How is the Sakura ritual different from a regular body treatment?

A standard scrub, mask, cream body service normally uses a wet or rinse based sequence. The Sakura ritual is different: it begins with a dry scrub, the scrub is removed with brushes, and the service finishes with warmed massage oil rather than a body cream.

Quick answer

Sakura ritual order: Dry scrub, brush away the powder, then massage with warmed Sakura oil. Add Cherry Blossom Spa Fragrance as the aromatic finishing touch.
